15 Things I’d Never Do As A Fitness Trainer

I hopped on the TikTok trend of the “5 things I’d never do…” and thought I’d compile all of my tips in this week’s newsletter. By the way…do you follow me on TikTok yet!? FOLLOW ME!

Here’s a laundry list of the 15 things I’d never do as a Fitness Trainer.

However, definitely check out my 3-part TikTok videos for more explanation for why I’d never do these things!

  1. I’d never do just cardio
  2. I’d never workout longer than an hour
  3. I’d never not take rest days
  4. I’d never think that going to the gym will erase all of my poor eating habits
  5. I’d never do more crunches thinking I’d get flatter abs
  6. I’d never follow a workout plan I didn’t enjoy
  7. I’d never force myself to workout when I’m extremely sore
  8. I’d never use fitness as punishment
  9. I’d never wait until motivation kicked in to get a workout in
  10. I’d never use diet pills or waist trimmers
  11. I’d never just rely on the scale as a measurement of progress
  12. I’d never have an unclear goal
  13. I’d never KILL myself in the gym if I a missed a few days of working out
  14. I’d never try to do it alone without support or accountability
  15. I’d never eat an extremely low calorie diet
