2024 IN’s and OUT’s to Kickstart Your Fitness Journey
Riding off the latest viral “IN’s and OUT’s” trend that’s going around on social media, I thought I’d help you create a Health & Fitness version with some sample ideas on what you can START doing in 2024 and what you can STOP doing in 2024. Hope this helps!
IN's
- Eating a fruit or veggie at every meal
- Strength train at least 2-3x per week
- Getting 7+ hours of sleep a night
- Drinking mostly water
- Getting in 30 minutes of movement daily
- Joining a fitness community with like-minded people
- Having a fun and physical weekend activity to do with your friends or family
- Listen to a podcast daily
- Read 1 personal growth book every month/quarter
- Get a minimum of 7,000 steps in a day
- Give a compliment to yourself once a day in the mirror
- Recognizing small non-scale victories
OUT’s
- Eating fast food or takeout multiple times per week
- Your daily glass of wine
- Late night snacking
- Drinking liquid calories (sodas, juices, high-calorie beverages)
- Scrolling and comparing yourself to other people on social media
- Severe restriction or super low calorie diets that never work long-term
- Snacks, chips, and cookies in the pantry
- Weight loss drugs, supplements, or skinny teas
