Prepping ahead of time is one of the best ways to stay on track with a healthy lifestyle. It makes eating nutritious meals daily a little bit easier, especially if you have a busy schedule!
If you're struggling to get started on meal prepping, here are some super simple (yet effective) ways to help you succeed in making it a habit:
Invest in BPA-free glassware containers to store your food. The food that you have prepped for the week can be stored in the fridge for 3-4 days or be frozen and thawed out later.
Make sure your meal contains a serving of veggies, protein, carbs, and healthy fat. This will ensure you're creating a well-balanced meal that will keep you full and satisfied.
Let a slow cooker or Instant Pot do the work for you!
Meal prep does take time, so make sure you allot time in your schedule to get it done. To make it more fun, listen to a podcast or have a fun show to watch/listen to in the background!
Remember, take it step by step! Focus on one meal at a time to build the habit!
