This week, I found myself procrastinating on filming some new content for JJF On Demand. I started scrolling TikTok, doing silly tasks, and just moseying around the house trying to delay the real work I had to do.
I knew I needed to get it done...but why was I procrastinating on it?
It was because I wasn’t connecting to the DEEPER REASON why I needed to get it done.
You see, I was just focusing on the grunt work (setting up equipment, uploading it to Google Drive, teaching to camera, and bringing my A-game energy).
So in order to switch my mindset about it, I had to find a DEEPER REASON for why this was super important to me.
I asked myself: “What are the positive results by doing this? Why is this important? Why is this a MUST?”
My answer was:

By connecting to the deeper reason for why I MUST get this done, I was able to successfully film the workout and felt so proud for busting procrastination.
By doing the “thing,” will it help you…
Instead of focusing on the actual thing itself, focus on the benefits and rewards for accomplishing the thing. You will BE SO PROUD you did.
