There’s a famous quote from Jim Rohn that states “you are the average of the 5 people you spend the most time with.”
I really took this to heart when I first heard it. 10 years ago, I looked at my social circle and noticed that the people I spent most of my time with did not value fitness or health, partied hard on the weekends, and were living paycheck to paycheck.
I realized I didn’t want to have that kind of lifestyle, so I began immersing myself into “virtual groups” of people who I aspired to be like: physically fit, healthy, wealthy, and successful.
While you may not have a physical group of people who are working on self-improvement like you, you can virtually immerse yourself through podcasts!
I listen to podcasts every single day, while I’m putting my makeup on, folding clothes, driving in the car, or cooking! It’s such a great way to learn from the experts and get inspired along the journey.
