The 4 Steps to Achieving your Fitness Goals

Whether you want to lose weight, get stronger, or just feel healthier, your results come down to the way you eat!

Remember, you can’t outrun a bad diet!

No matter how many hours of work you’re putting into the gym, results will not show until you master good eating habits!

Here are the 4 simple steps to improve your nutrition and reach your fitness goals faster:

STEP 1: GET REAL

Prioritize real, whole foods with little to no processing most of the time. Find foods in their most natural state. This includes your fresh fruits and vegetables, poultry, fish, whole grains, nuts and seeds, and some oils.

STEP 2: LESSEN THE CRAP

CRAP stands for Chemicals and Carbonated Sodas, Refined Foods, Artificial Ingredients and Alcohol, and Processed and Preservative Foods. Having “CRAP” leads to a high amount of inflammation in the body, which can be experienced through weight gain, hormonal imbalances, acne, bloating, digestive issues, and brain fog to name a few.

STEP 3: OPTIMIZE NUTRITION

Once you’ve created this foundation, you’ll then want to ensure you’re consuming the right portions of each food group (protein, carbohydrates, and healthy fats). (Even though your diet might be spectacular, you can still gain weight if you’re overeating!)

STEP 4: WORK IT!

Work Steps 1-3 into your crazy busy life! Set time aside to meal prep and plan in advance so that you can stay on track with your goals. Learn healthy swaps to your favorite guilty pleasures so that you can still enjoy sweets without the guilt!
