What A Day Of Keto / Bulletproof / IF Looks Like

So I’ve been doing a lot of research into the ketogenic/bulletproof and intermittent fasting lifestyle and I’ve been very very intrigued about the idea of eating high fat moderate protein and low carbohydrates for daily living.

 

And my boyfriend has been talking about the ketogenic lifestyle for a while now but I never really was interested in trying it nor was curious to finding out more.

 

But when I started to read more information about it and was just reading articles and listening to podcasts about it.

 

I became more and more interested in the idea of doing this kind of lifestyle because of the many benefits that it has. There are some benefits like:

 

  • mental clarity
  • mental focus
  • improved concentration
  • better memory retention


You’re also able to stay full longer and have more satisfaction in your meals and your metabolism increases as you start to eat more fat and lower your carb intake.


It helps you to burn fat faster because your body no longer becomes sugar burning machine but rather, your body becomes a fat burning machine.

 

What happens is that when you are consuming carbohydrates your body immediately uses that and turns into glucose or sugar and that is what your body uses to sustain itself and burn glucose for energy.

 

But when you drastically reduce the amount of carbs that you are in taking, your body’s second source of energy is your fat.


The fat that you already have in your body, your body starts to use. That instead of glucose or carbs because you are no longer giving your body that source of energy.


So when this happens, your body goes into what they call ketosis. Your body starts to use key tones rather than glucose, to give you the energy that you need throughout the day.


When this happens, you start to lose fats almost effortlessly while still in taking tons of calories, no starvation required, no calorie counting required.

 

Just focusing on making all of your meals, a majority of that with moderate protein and little carbs.

 

When I started doing this, I immediately saw the amazing mental focus and clarity for my day.

 

I was not hungry and could sustain myself with even amounts of energy for 5 to 6 hours without eating.

 

There was one day, I was able to fast for 20 hours because I just wasn't hungry due to the high intake of fats and all of my meals.

 

In case you are curious about this ketogenic lifestyle I encourage you to definitely do your research on the lifestyle, and the research that many doctors and scientists have presented recently about this new lifestyle.

 

In this blog post I just wanted to share with you a typical meal plan that I gave myself for the first week of living a ketogenic bulletproof intermittent fasting lifestyle.

 

I started with a bulletproof coffee which is basically bulletproof coffee beans and adding one tablespoon, unsalted grasp fed butter and 1 tablespoon of MCT oil.

 

 

 

Then for lunch I had a huge spinach salad, with two hard boiled eggs, avocado, two slices of bacon, sunflower seeds and olives, with olive oil and a squeeze of lemon for dressing.

 

 

For dinner I had cauliflower lime rice, with a little bit of mushroom and beef meatballs and avocado.

 


I was so full and it’s so incredibly delicious and you don't even feel like you’re on a diet.


You actually feel like you are giving yourself the best meals ever but you're still able to burn fat faster And increase your metabolism and feel awesome every single day.


So far I’m loving it and I will continue to post more recipes as I continue to create them but this lifestyle is awesome and I’m loving it so far!
