Eat nature's candy! Some examples include: apples, bananas, cantaloupe, cherries, dates, oranges, peaches, raspberries, and pomegranates.
Lean Protein
Some examples include chicken, cod, salmon, sardines, tempeh, tofu, tuna, eggs, and greek yogurt.
Whole Grains & Legumes
Some examples include barley, brown rice, beans/peas, oatmeal, quinoa, whole wheat.
Healthy Fats
Some examples include almonds, nut butter, avocadoes, chia seeds, coconut oil, ghee, hummus, sunflower seeds, tahini, and walnuts.
The general advice is to stick to real, whole, single-ingredients foods most of the time.
